Bainbridge Island Farmers’ 2015 Market Season Begins!
The much beloved Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market kicks off its 2015 season today, Saturday April 11, at Town Square, just outside City Hall. From 9:00 am until 1:00 pm, enjoy farm-fresh produce, local arts and crafts, flowers, seafood, pastry, bread, plants, fine art, live music, and fun, friendly folk! Organizers say that the farmer vendor stands are already bursting with flavors of spring. It’s also a great opportunity to celebrate the spring season and support our Island’s local farmers and artisans.
Opening Day festivities will include the Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market‘s Annual Cheese Toss with Mayor Anne Blair and City Manager Dough Schultze. In addition, enjoy live music, and grab one of the new Farmers’ Market T-Shirts for sale as a fundraiser for the Market! Why not make the Market part of your Saturday routine?
