Earlier this month, about a dozen Bainbridge Island Lodging Association (BILA) members celebrated the end-of-summer with a fun event at Intentional Table.

Zoe Bartlett, owner, Intentional Table

Located at 124 Madrone Lane North in downtown Winslow, Intentional Table is an innovative cooking school offering cooking classes, wine tastings, provisions and culinary experiences. Established by Zoe Bartlett and a partner in 2012, the attractive space is growing in popularity among Islanders and out-of-town guests, alike.

The BILA event was designed to help the Island’s lodgers to get to know one of Bainbridge’s unique attractions. By becoming more familiar with great places like Intentional Table, lodgers are better able to make recommendations to guests who want a fun and memorable, hands-on experience during their stay.

Even if you’re not attending an upcoming class or event (sushi-making, gnocchi-making and cooking with autumn squash is currently on the docket), Intentional Table’s retail selection offers thoughtful artisan food items, cookbooks and wine. Even better, many of the items – including great wines from near and far – are significantly less expensive than at other outlets.

With a nationally-recognized culinary scene just a 35-minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle, Bainbridge Island is enjoying more overnight visitors than ever! BILA President Eric Fredricks said the event at Intentional Table was a fun way to help the association’s members become even better boosters of all that Bainbridge Island has to offer!
