The space
We are renting a newly remodeled private studio apartment that is detached, but near to our house. There is a private entrance, access to our lovely garden and the beach, and plenty of free, street parking in front of the house. We are located on the water along Rich Passage. It’s a lovely spot to watch the ferries go by, and plenty of wildlife including, seals, cormorants, gulls, eagles, herons, deer, and occasional orcas and sea lions.
The apartment is studio apartment with a very comfortable, new, high-end American leather sofa bed with barless, memory foam mattress. We’ve had a few guests with bad backs and they all said the bed had great support and was very comfortable to sleep on. The unit has a kitchenette with an electric burner, microwave, fridge, coffee maker/hot water kettle. There is also a deck with a lovely view of the water. It is a great place to relax on sunny days. The apartment has many windows and big bay doors that all let in a lot of light. The unit also has free wifi.

We are conveniently located a close 15-minute drive from the Bainbridge Ferry Terminal. We recommend you have a car to get around here as public transportation is difficult and Uber is slowly developing–still can be long waits.
We are a 5-minute drive or 20 min walk to the quaint Lynnwood Center Village, which has a historic theater, bakeries, wonderful restaurants, cute cafes, coffee shops, a market and a collection of boutique shops. It is also only a 15-minute drive to downtown Winslow.

Guests have access to their studio apartment unit, which has a private entrance, the yard, our lovely garden and the beach.

We are around during the day and evenings and can help guests with questions about their stay, exploring the island and any needs they have that may arise.
