BAINBRIDGE IN BLOOM!

Rain, sleet, hail and wind. It’s officially Spring on Bainbridge Island!

Spring brings many wonderfully blooming things to Bainbridge Island.  The Bainbridge in Bloom Garden Tour, now celebrating its 30th year, showcases a variety of these in our local gardens. This year, The Bloom will feature five spectacular, private gardens reflecting the creativity and diversity of our island’s flora and landscapes and will be held Saturday-Sunday, June 2 and 3rd. from 9 am to 5 pm each day. From a charming downtown pocket garden to a sprawling 12 acre, owner-designed garden replete with orchards, veggie gardens, winding trails, ponds and chickens, the Bloom tour has a garden for every taste. Without a doubt, the Island’s biggest event of the year is our Grand Old Fourth festival. Nicknamed “Bainbridge Island’s biggest party,” the Fourth is highlighted by what’s been named the “Best Small Town Parade in America!” That’s right, and you can find it on our little island!
