Grand Old Fourth
July is a wonderful time of year on Bainbridge Island, with long sunny summer days, and a busy events calendar. Without a doubt, the Island’s biggest event of the year is our Grand Old Fourth festival. Nicknamed “Bainbridge Island’s biggest party,” the Fourth is highlighted by what’s been named the “Best Small Town Parade in America!” That’s right, and you can find it on our little island! In addition to the parade, the fun includes a pancake breakfast, all-day street fair, foot races, classic car show, music, food and lots of entertainment. (Visit the official website)
Island Days Street Dance & BBQ
As a warm up to the Fourth, on the third, there’s another favorite Bainbridge Island tradition. The Island Days Street Dance & BBQ brings together food, live music, dancing, sidewalk chalk and tons of fun on the night just before the Grand Old Fourth’s festivities.
