Soft, buttery, rich… caramel candies done right are an enormous pleasure. Dipped in chocolate, they reach beyond the stratosphere. Join Bainbridge Island caramel expert Deanna Brennan, owner of Crazy Love Confections, to learn how to make these treasures for your holiday gift-giving. Deanna will prepare a basic caramel recipe ahead for the class to enrobe in chocolate and will help students prepare their own variations such as maple-bacon, toasted pecan and fleur de sel. Each participant will take home a selection of caramels to share with family. This is a hands-on class so please wear kitchen appropriate attire and comfortable shoes. Admission: $65

Shoemaker and the Elf Puppet Show
4:00 – 5:00 pm @ Bainbridge Island Public Library (1270 Madison Avenue North)
Join the Library for a special showing of the classic fairytale, The Shoemaker and the Elf, presented by Mary Shaver Marionettes. Watch as the miniature world of marionettes enchants your children, bringing to life the tale of a poor shoemaker puzzled by the mystery of who could be crafting beautiful shoes in his workshop at night. Puppeteer and artist Mary Shaver has performed regularly throughout Texas, France and now the Pacific Northwest. Admission: Free

This Thursday is Trivia Night at the brewery, presented by Trivia Time Live’s DJ. From 7 to 9 pm, teams compete for prizes and the pennant during four rounds of interesting questions.
