Things To Do on Bainbridge Island This Week – December 16-22

Christmas is rapidly approaching with lots of great holiday-themed activities as proof! For our latest weekly list of Things To Do on Bainbridge Island we’ve highlighted holiday favorites, like a performance of the Nutcracker and playtime with Santa, as well as live music and the Island’s weekly trivia night. Mid-winter is a wonderful time to be on Bainbridge Island! With everything to see and do, we think you’ll want to spend a few nights here!

Monday is Trivia Night at the brewery, presented by Trivia Time Live’s DJ. From 7 to 9 pm, teams compete for prizes and the pennant during four rounds of interesting questions. Come and play by yourself or join a team. Relax, have a few beers and snacks, and join in the weekly fun! Admission: Free

Waterfront Book Group Discusses Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne
1:00 – 2:00 pm @ Waterfront Park Community Center (370 Brien Drive SE)
Phileas Fogg of London and his newly employed French valet Passepartout attempt to circumnavigate the world in 80 days on a £20,000 wager (roughly $2.16 million today) set by his friends at the Reform Club. Explore KiDiMu’s hands-on exhibits with a very special docent. Santa will volunteer at the Museum to guide kids and their families in exploration. Parents and caregivers, don’t forget your camera for a casual photo-op! Admission: Free with admission or membership

Kids are invited for a fun-filled evening of Museum playtime, theme activities and a pizza dinner, while their parents catch up on holiday errands or enjoy a night out! On this special evening, children will create seasonal activities. Age-appropriate activities for children 3.5-10 years old. Admission: $30 per child of members; $40 for children of non-members; $10 off each additional sibling

It’s another holiday tradition – The Nutcracker! Enjoy this year’s performance put on by the Olympic Performance Group. In addition to the show, enjoy catered drinks and hors d’oeuvres and meet the cast and Director before the Sunday evening show (“Meet-and-Greet” tickets are extra). Admission: $23 adults; $20 students and seniors
