The Kentucky Cycle at Bainbridge Performing ArtsCombined Auditions at BPA Theatre and Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra
Request Exact Times @ Bainbridge Performing Arts (200 Madison Avenue North)
It’s time for combined auditions! Auditioners should prepare a one-two minute monologue and 32 bars of a contemporary musical theatre piece. An accompanist will be provided but those auditioning must bring sheet music – clearly marked and in a three-ring binder. Please no outside accompanists or acapella singing. All roles are open to audition. Those auditioning are requested to bring an acting resume and head shot, if available. For an appointment, please contact BPA. Admission: Free

Family Workshop: Sculptural Mobiles with Kristin Tollefson
1:00 – 3:00 pm @ Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (550 Winslow Way East)
Making something from nothing is a common thread running through many artists’ practices. Create your own suspended mobile work of art in this multi-age family workshop. All ages welcome; children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Please register. Admission: $30

The Holy Grail Vintage Market has 17 vendors featuring vintage home and garden decor, re-purposed, painted furniture, altered couture, jewelry, and handcrafted items. We will also have on-site food vendors. The Market continues through Sunday. Admission: $

Saturday, July 26

5:30 – 9:00 pm @ Bay Hay and Feed (10355 NE Valley Road)
A Bay Hay & Feed Garden Party starts at 5:30. While strolling through the lovely gardens, enjoy beverages, hors d’oeuvres, and live music by the Anne Pell Trio. Dinner Program from 6:30 to 9:00 includes a catered buffet dinner and program inside the big tent. Tickets are available at Bay Hay & Feed and the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum. Admission: $75

Sunday, July 27

You are invited to take part in one of IslandWood’s informational tours. During a three-hour walkabout on their 255-acre campus, you’ll experience IslandWood’s bog, cattail marsh, pond, ravine, and forest. You’ll also learn about the sustainable elements of our buildings and the scope of their educational programming, all while coming to better understand the immense power of the natural world. Admission: Free
