Rotary Auction Volunteer Open House

During the Open House, experienced and potential new Volunteers join BI Rotary Auction & Rummage Sale Department Managers for an evening of eating, socializing, and exploring opportunities such as assignments in 34 different departments. Last year, thanks to 1,100+ volunteers, we raised over $445,000 to fund local community and international projects. Admission: Free

Dinner and wine is included in this participatory class that’s taking place at the Farmhouse and Kitchen on Old Mill Road. Join instructors Kerrie Sanson and Jon Hewes! It’s that time of the month again, for the 1st Fridays Art Walk in downtown Winslow on Bainbridge Island. This month’s events also include a special exhibit of photographs from a 2013 trip to the Galapagos Islands by Bainbridge Islanders. Underwater video clips and a slide show will be featured as well as treats and beverages. This event takes place at the Bainbridge Island Public Library. Admission: Free

The 2014 Strawberry Festival is organized by the Filipino American community of Bainbridge Island and vicinity. Sunday, June 8

In this two-session workshop on consecutive Sundays, you’ll create an heirloom portrait of your pet while learning about materials and techniques such as image transfer, layering, texturing, and finishing. Ages 17 and up. No experience is necessary. Bonus! Students’ completed pieces will be featured in the front window, right at Bainbridge Arts & Crafts.
