The Bainbridge Island Japanese American Community (BIJAC) presents three short films relating to the Japanese American Exclusion experience on Bainbridge Island, followed by discussions facilitated by BIJAC members. Admission: Free

Cellist Meg Brennand and pianist David White in a program of music by Beethoven on Sunday, March 1 at 4:00. The program will include the Sonata for Cello and Piano in A major, 11 Bagatelles & 2 sets of theme and variations. Brennand and White are part of the ensemble Onyx Chamber Players. Both are accomplished musicians who perform in a variety of settings in the Northwest and beyond. Admission: $20 adults; $10 youth

GO Figure! Life Drawing Sessions at BIMA Drawing directly from the human figure is a wonderful way to hone your technical skills while exploring variations in lighting, poses, and settings. Join us for GO Figure!, a non-instructed series of 6 sessions coordinated and supervised by artist Tracy Lang. Fee/registration information: Cost: $95 per 6-session series (cost includes model fee); single evening admission is $20 per session, available for purchase online or drop in, space permitting. Books on Tap is a literary trivia event sponsored in partnership with the Bainbridge Branch of the Kitsap Regional Library and the Treehouse Café. There are four, 10 question rounds, two literary based, one Bainbridge history and one movies and music. Books on Tap is excited to have the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum writing the questions for the history round. If you’re coming alone or with another person, Books on Tap would be happy to put you on an existing team or you may bring a group and start your own. Hope to see you Wednesday night!
