Meet the Artist: Pierr Morgan

Meet the Artist is an informal opportunity to engage with our current exhibiting artists in the galleries. Ask questions and learn first-hand about their work, inspiration, and process.The work of award-winning children’s book illustrator Pierr Morgan (The Squiggle, Dragon Dancing) is featured in this diverse and engaging exhibition. Imagine includes two hands-on arts activities for children, youth, families, and the young at art, plus over forty works drawn from regional art collections and the artist. Redshift at Treehouse Café

Redshift is Dave Bristow on keyboards, Kurt Bischoff on drums and Neil Conaty on upright bass. All three are accomplished musicians bringing years of experience both as players and teachers to this crowd-pleasing jazz project. From standards to originals in just about any style, Redshift has garnered fans both at The Treehouse and all over Bainbridge Island! Admission: Suggested Donation

Rookie Reader Camp at the Library

A week full of fun for rookie readers with games, songs and skits with the emerging reader in mind. This camp is for children entering second grade in the fall. Space is limited. This camp is free, but pre-registration for this camp is required. Admission: Free

Tuesday Tunes at KiDiMu!
11:00 am – 11:30 am @ Kids Discovery Museum (301 Ravine Lane NE)
Join local musician David Webb at KiDiMu for a guitar sing-along and enjoy favorite American folk hits for kids! FREE with admission or membership. All ages welcome. The sing-along is also recommended for babies to get a head start on emerging language skills, music appreciation and KiDiMu fun! Admission: Free with admission or membership

Ethan J. Perry and The Remedy Band Host Weekly Open Band Jam

The Remedy Band, playing Americana Indie Technicolor Jazz, first opens up two hours of great local live music. Then local and visiting musicians are invited to sit in with the band and/or play solo. The local musical talent is amazing. Admission: Free

Dr. Seuss’s best-loved characters collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper!
