Home Alone 25th Anniversary

The screening is celebrating the 25th anniversary of Kevin McCallister being left alone to fend for himself against two inept burglars played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern. BPA Theatre School’s Fall Showcase is a family-friendly event showcasing talented students in 2nd – 7th grade. This showcase will include “Don’t Get Spooked” by Josh Anderson and Zandi Carlson and “Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing” adapted for the stage by Bruce Mason. Admission: $10 adults; $5 seniors, youth, students, military and teachers;

Eye on Artist Lecture: Caroline Cooley Browne

Join a talk by artist Caroline Cooley Browne on influences that inspire her work, her methods and materials, and new directions she is heading with her artistic practice. Reception with light food and drink in the Bistro will follow. Caroline Cooley Browne’s exhibit entitled, “Goings and Comings” is featured in both the Steve and Harriet Davis Community Gallery and John Kenyon Ellis Bistro through February 2016. Browne is a Bainbridge Island artist who works in painting, mixed media, and fiber. In this unique exhibition, two series of work are featured: a set of new oil pastel paintings and Doodles/Sketches, a work-in-progress yet to be determined. Join the journey!
