Friday, October 16

bainbridge-gardens-annual-pumpkin-walkBainbridge Gardens’ 22nd Annual Pumpkin Walk
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm @ Location (9415 Miller Road)
Bainbridge Gardens hosts one of Bainbridge Island’s most popular Halloween traditions. Come walk along the Bainbridge Gardens Nature Trail, glowing with a festive display of 300 lighted, carved pumpkins. Nightly features include a harvest maze, photos with the Great Pumpkin, carnival games, and live music. This family-oriented event is a fundraiser for the Bainbridge Island Boys and Girls Club. This is an outdoor event; dress for the weather. Costumes are optional. Admission: Free


This year, the Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market runs through December 19, 2015.

Saturday, October 17

Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market
9:00 am – 1:00 pm @ Town Square / City Hall Park (280 Madison Avenue North)
Featuring farm-fresh produce, local arts and crafts, flowers, seafood, pastry, bread, plants, fine art, live music, and fun friendly folk, the Bainbridge Island Farmers’ Market is where our community grows. Spend a bit of your Saturday at the Market while you still can! Admission: Free

Sunday, October 18

Island Theatre Presents, Copenhagen
7:30 pm @ Bainbridge Island Public Library (1270 Madison Avenue North)
A staged reading the Tony Award-winning 1998 play “Copenhagen” by Michael Frayn, which dramatizes the disastrous 1941 meeting between German physicist Werner Heisenberg and his former colleague and friend, Danish physicist Nils Bohr, on the Nazi’s efforts to produce the atomic bomb. Admission: Free, with donations welcome

Drop by KiDiMu for messy experimentation and sensory exploration. This week features mini pumpkin painting. Children will practice sensory and motor skills, and use imagination as they create their masterpiece! Admission: $7

Tuesday, October 20

Come see the next flick in BIMA’s new smARTfilm NOIR series. Directed by John Huston, Asphalt Jungle is a 1950 film starring Sterling Hayden, Louis Calhern and Jean Hagen. Admission: $11 ($57 with dinner);

Wednesday, October 21

6:00 pm – 9:00 pm @ Bainbridge Island Brewing (9415 Coppertop Loop)
The Remedy Band, playing Americana Indie Technicolor Jazz, first opens up two hours of great local live music at the Brewery. Afterwards, local and visiting musicians are invited to sit in with the band and/or play solo. Come see for yourself – the local musical talent is amazing! Admission: Free

Thursday, October 22
