Get ready to celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with KiDiMu and the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art. On Mondays in October, join KiDiMu instructors for special art projects, inspired by the popular holiday. Messy experimentation and sensory exploration are not only allowed but also encouraged. Drop by anytime between 10:30 and 11:30 am. Admission: Free with admission or membership

The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art’s smART Films Comedy Series fosters community conversation through the merger of visual art, film and narrative. This week’s feature is His Girl Friday (1940). A gender-switched version of the 1931 film, The Front Page. Fast-paced, filled with wonderful character actors and containing one of the all-time funniest five minutes in screen history. Easy as Pie! Class at the Farmhouse and Kitchen on Old Mill Road
6:00 – 8:00 pm @ Farmhouse and Kitchen on Old Mill Road (4370 Old Mill Road NE)
Light supper and a drink is included. This class is participatory. Instructor: Kerrie Sanson As the holidays approach come and learn how to make pie! This class will feature sweet and savory pies and a light leaf-lard crust that both shatters and melts in your mouth. The savory pie will include produce and meat from the farm. Instruction will also include custard and fruit pies and a discussion and demonstration on forming hand pies. Admission: Inquire

3rd Annual Halloween Bash
7:00 – 10:00 pm @ Bainbridge Island Brewery & Taproom (9415 Coppertop Loop, Suite 103-104)
It’s one of their most popular events of the year – Bainbridge Island Brewery & Taproom’s 3rd annual Halloween Party – featuring live rock music by Psycho Sushi (7-10 pm), food served on the patio by the Dog Wagon, including special Mummy Dogs (3-8 pm), and a costume contest at about 8pm. Come in your best costume or your own scary self! Admission: $5 cover charge paid to the band;
