Come celebrate the beginning of Oktoberfest in Munich with a Friday after-work party at the taproom. While you’re here, enjoy our recently-released fall beers, including our Washington SMASH! Pale Ale and our Sol Patch Pumpkin Ale! Admission: Free

Jubal Flagg: Stuff I Can’t Say on the Radio (One Night Only!)
7:30 pm @ Bainbridge Performing Arts (200 Madison Avenue North)
Jubal Flagg, from the MOViN 92.5 Morning Show, will bring his live R-Rated stand-up comedy show to Bainbridge Performing Arts one night only. Jubal is a standup comedian, radio host, television personality and comedy writer. Known for his quick wit and keen and often strange observations, Jubal has been entertaining audiences on-stage and on the radio for over 10 years. Appropriate for ages 18 and older. Admission: $21 per person

This educational and fun event brings our community together to celebrate, appreciate and nurture local farming.  Not just for the kids, Harvest Fair encourages everyone to take a day and join local farmers on the farm. Activities include a Best Pie Contest, Turkey Raffle and the Harvest Fair Playbill! Admission: $5 suggested donation

Monday, September 28

10:30 am – 11:30 am @ Kids Discovery Museum (301 Ravine Lane)
Stop by KiDiMu for messy experimentation and sensory exploration featuring leaf painting! Children will practice sensory and motor skills, and use imagination as they create their masterpiece with paint and dish brushes. Admission: $7 (otherwise free with admission or membership);

Tuesday, September 29

7:30 pm @ Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (550 Winslow Way East)
The Bainbridge Island Museum of Art’s latest smARTfilms series delves into Noir! Come see your favorite movies as they are meant to be seen: on the big screen, in comfy chairs, and well fed! All screenings are followed by a facilitated discussion. A three-course dinner themed around the film will also be featured at 5:30 pm (reservations for the dinner are required, seating is limited to 25). Admission: Inquire

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm @ Eagle Harbor Book Co. (157 Winslow Way East)
Island School Librarian George Shannon and his gang of parent volunteers will be selling books in celebration of back-to-school! Eagle Harbor Books will donate 20% of all sales between 5:00 pm and closing to the Island School. The school has offered a safe, supportive learning environment for children and their families since 1977. Admission: Free

Thursday, October 1

10:00 am – 4:00 pm (Closed Mondays) @ Bloedel Reserve (7571 NE Dolphin Drive)
Oh how they have grown! The Bloedel Reserve grounds crew and volunteers have tended to the squash, gourds and pumpkins all summer and the tremendous selection will be on display across the grounds starting today through November 1st. Children of all ages will enjoy perusing the pumpkins and scouring the squash. All will be rewarded with a picturesque colorful walk, and children will receive a prize after completing the hunt! Admission: $15 adults; $10 seniors and military; $5-8 children;
